Uber: Two top executives leave in leadership 'reshuffle'
AFP Uber's chief operating officer and chief marketing officer have stepped down following a leadership reshuffle at the ride-hailing app. The decision comes nearly a month after a shaky start to Uber's listing on the New York Stock Exchange. Uber then posted a $1bn loss last month, despite strong revenue growth. Rebecca Messina - who joined as head of marketing nine months ago - has also stepped aside, with marketing operations set to be combined with Uber's policy and communications and policy team, led by Jill Hazelbaker. "It's a double-edged sword for him, because it's going to put that much more pressure on the success of Uber riding on his shoulders."
