Amazon Web Services employees were told to "Be vigilant" after the firm removed Parler from its web-hosting service. Facebook staff were also instructed not to wear company-branded clothing in public following its ban of the US President's account. According to an email reviewed by Business Insider, AWS vice-president Chris Vonderhaar urged his team to "Be safe, be vigilant" and report any unusual activity related to the company's data centres. Facebook boss Mark Zuckerberg said President Trump would be banned from its platform "For at least the next two weeks until the peaceful transition of power is complete".
